This is the reconstructed diary of Des Watkins written from letters and diaries found after his death by his son Greg
I am adding material, as it comes to hand, in the belief that it will be of interest, especially as an overview of a life and also of a period of history.
I am undecided whether this is self indulgence or philanthropy is a question that bothers me but will probably resolve by the time I complete the WORK!
